Make your own scary books!
Our favorite Halloween story theme this year is “pets in costumes”. We have a variety of templates to help kids make their own stories of dressed up animals. Younger writers can use our beginner template, where all they need to do is write captions on right hand pages. Intermediate writers can choose pictures from the image organizer, and order their book the way they like. Expert writers can use links in our templates to find great pictures online, then write their own stories.
Make literacy contagious!
Finally, what could be better to hand out to scary children at Halloween than a Halloween RealeBook? With candy of course!! You can help spread the message of literacy in your local community without much effort!
